Share one workspace. See deadlines, progress, recommendation status, application milestones, and decision information. The applicant controls the writing and application content.
Everything that answers "is this on track?" A parent account reads the same workspace the applicant does, so nothing has to be forwarded, screenshotted, or asked for.
The writing. A student who thinks a parent is reading over their shoulder writes for the parent instead of for the admissions reader, so we withhold it on the server. A parent account does not receive this content at all.
The daily task and streak sit in between: private by default, and shared only if the applicant turns sharing on.
One household, one purchase, up to three people. Everyone signs in as themselves and works in the same workspace.
Whoever created the account. Controls billing and is the only one who can invite or remove members.
Shares the workspace and sees everything except the writing. Cannot invite or remove anyone.
The applicant. Owns the essays and the coaching, and decides whether daily progress is shared.
A purchase belongs to the household, not to one person, so paid features unlock for everyone in it the moment the owner buys.
Plenty of parents start in the spring of junior year, before the student is ready to think about it. You do not have to wait.
From the moment a student joins the household, essay content becomes theirs alone, including anything drafted before they arrived.
The invitation runs the other way just as easily, and it stays the applicant's decision to send it.
Invitations are single-use and expire after seven days. The household owner can revoke one before it is accepted.
The application is your student's. Everything around it is fair game, and most of it is work they should not be doing.
